The truth is, wardrobe choices have a huge impact on the overall feel of your photos.

A beautiful location, gorgeous light, and a great photographer can create magic, but the clothing you choose helps tell the story.

Timeless vs. Trendy

Trends come and go.

When you look back at your photos five, ten, or twenty years from now, you'll likely notice the clothing choices just as much as the smiles and memories.

Neutral tones, soft colors, classic patterns, and coordinated outfits tend to create images that feel timeless and elegant year after year.

Bright graphics, large logos, and trendy styles can sometimes pull attention away from what matters most: the people in the photograph.

Coordination Over Matching

One of my favorite tips is to coordinate rather than match.

Choose colors that complement one another instead of putting everyone in identical outfits.

Soft earth tones, creams, blues, sage greens, and warm neutrals often photograph beautifully in outdoor settings and create a cohesive look without feeling forced.
